Need to buy speakers to be used on PC.

Budget is 2-3k.

Will be using for music, movies and games.

Emphasis is on good clarity for movies and good bass for music.

Should be good enough even when turned up little loud.

I am also looking for similar 2.1 speakers and shortlisted as below:

Edifier (they have a series of 2.1 speakers like: P3060 /P2060 /P1060 /M1385 /M3200 /R-401 2.1 - don't know which is a good model to buy with RCA)

Sony SRS-D4 / SRS-D5 (sounds ok, do not have RCA I think)

PHILIPS SPA5300 (sounds good, don't know of RCA availability)

Want to go with better quality speaker, also will prefer to have RCA connectivity.

^ the vs 4121 is boss!

i own it and have never felt the need to change.the sound is crisp and clear, bass is very good is you position the woofer properly.

well i needed some help, so posting here. i have the same query as op but i am confused whether to get the edifier X600 around 2.5k from ebay or edifier c2 around 3.5k from infibeam. kindly let me which one will be better. found the bass in VS4121 a little too boomy.

Well u have to work on the Equalizer for that...

The Edifier C2 is good if u can stretch ur budget..

Between the Edifier X600 and the C2 I'd pick the C2. It's a brilliant set for the price youre paying.

Yep got the vs2621 and my short conclusion

The vs2621 are value,I would still recommend you to go for something better.check whether you can find a vs4121 somewhere.they are one of the best budget 2.1's

i meant the 4121

Please dont go for VS4621/Octane 7... They are not worth the 3K...
Ummm how come mega? I have actually been using them for 1 1/2 year now and they sound fantastic.I also own a edifier x500 and incomparison to that they sound a lot better.

The only downpoint I would say is that they are bassheavy, but with the proper soudcard they sound fantastic.

My friend has it and i made a head to head comparison(i.e, 2*dell inspiron 14) of VS4121 n VS4621...

vs4621 sounded like no bass... mids were muddy.. highs were almost same..
