ok pls help me out, my friend tol me abt this forum, so its my first post...
i have a wireless router, which has got several lan ports apart from the wireless connectivity option, and obviously on the other end there is the jack for connecting the cable from my broadband modem. i hv a laptop connected wirelessly to the router using the intel PRO chipset or whatever, and one laptop connected to one the lan ports. its DHCP, so i there'll be a different ip address of both comps every time i connect. so i connected them n got the comps ip addresses by runnin ipconfig and now i kno both comps ip addresses. i can ping one from the other. now i need some1 to tell me how to send files (and general connectivity) frm one comp to another. (i dont hv netMeeting installed, btw).
if i try makin a new network, it says my comp is part of a domain, so i cant make a network...
if i missed out sumthing, pls ask, ill try n explain it as clearly as i can. please help...
