Please help me with my PC upgrade (finally!) under 30K. My PC usage would mainly be for the following tasks:
- mainly for surfing internet and using applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc
- playing games (RPG, strategy, racing, etc)
- watching movies (mainly HD) and listening to music
- downloading

- Motherboard - Intel 915G Chipset
- GPU - Don't have an additional one (think there's an NVidia one that came with the PC)
- RAM - 512 MB
- Monitor - Samsung 17"
- HDD - 120GB (had there been no external drives, I would have struggled

- CPU - Confused between AMD and Intel. My local vendor suggested AMD FX8120 (8 core) instead of Intel i5 or i7 (4 core)
- Motherboard - My vendor suggested 880 Gigabyte mobo to go with the AMD processor
- GPU - GT210 1GB / GT520 1GB (Again a suggestion from my vendor)
- RAM - 4GB DDR-3 (not sure of the company, which one's good?)
- HDD - 1TB SATA (again, which company?)
- DVD RW - ?
- Cabinet - ?
- I'm also contemplating on replacing my monitor with an LED (BenQ 18.5" / Acer 22" - are the suggestions I've received)
