One of my frnd want to upgrade his PC, so need hep from you'll.

1. Q: What is your budget?

2. Q: What is your existing hardware configuration (component name - component brand and model)
1. CPU - AMD Athlon 1.8Ghz
2. Motherboard - Gigabyte (Dont know the model no.)
3. GPU - No
4. RAM - Kingston DDR-I 1 GB
5. Monitor - Samsung (Do know Model)
6. SMPS -
7. (please mention the rest in above format)
3. Q: Which hardware will you be keeping (component name - component brand and model)
1. Monitor

4. Q: Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.
1. CPU - Core i3 530 2.9Ghz
2. Motherboard - any compatible motherboard
3. GPU - If its onboard then well and good.
4. RAM : Kingston DDR3 133Mhz 2 GB
5. HDD : 500GB WD

CPU - AMD AthlonII X4 635 ~ 5k(Quad core processor)

2. Motherboard - MSI 785GM-E51 ~ 4k

3. GPU - On Board

4. RAM : Corsair Value RAM 1333Mhz 2 GB ~2.3k

5. HDD : 500GB Seagate 7200.12 ~ 1.9k

6. PSU : Gigabyte Superb Superb 460 ~ 2.2k

Total: 15.4k

If adamant on Intel then i-5 530 ~ 5.3k + Gigabyte H55M-S2 ~ 4.5k/Gigabyte H55M-UD2H~5.7k(The Intel processor i-3 530 itself has an integrated GPU. U have to use a H-55 mobo along with it to make use of the IGP. It wont work with a P-55 mobo)

Thnx 4 ur suggestion.:clap:

Wht kind of games V will b able 2 play by using core i3 530+Gigabyte H55M-S2/Gigabyte H55M-UD2H...B'coz the pc also b used 4 casual gaming like Fifa-10 ,Civ-4,CODs :huh:

or can u suggest a reasonable Graphics Card arnd 2-2.5K on same config.

Not sure how well it can handle it. If u wanna a GPU then try to get hold of a 2nd hand HD4670 ~ 2.5k-3k. Else a new HD4650 ~ 2.8k-3k
