PC without Monitor within 15k

Hi frnds,

I'm planning to by a new PC(without monitor), my budget is 15K (cn increase 1 or 2K).

The PC will be used for:
1.office work
2.Study Purpose.
-- I will be installing SQL or Oracle Database and tools
3. Gaming(Casual)
4. Surfing,Dwnlding

First I ws thinking of
AMD Athlon II X4 630
Gigabyte GA-MA -785G(b'coz of onboard graphics & Future upgradation of Procy.)
2GB DDR2 RAM
320GB HDD
Cabinet
SPK
K/B,Mouse

I went on almost 6-7 shops in Lamington rd and found there is arnd 300-1000Rs. difference for Procy+Mobo combo. same with HDD,RAM arnd 100-500. :S

After reading sm posts on I decided to go for AMD Phenon II X2 555BE with same combination and try my luck with unlocking :hap2:.

cn u all pls suggest any other combinations and frm which shop i should buy in lamington? also updated prices of H/W if u hav? :huh:

Hi Frnds,

Now I think I hav 2 increase my budget by 3K

went 2 lamington on saturday(01/05/10), although many shops were closed (Mainly I went for Shamvik,Prime, E-Lounge bt all three were closed).

Stil got sm quotation frm there (Sorry I'm nt able to insert table properly):

Shops/Component: AMD555BE+Gigabte GA-MA-785GMT-UD2H
Mahavir(Near Police St.): 9200(Combo)
Modern Technology:10700
PC Guide:11200
Krazzy : 10750

Asked today on phone from Shamvik for same Proccy+Mobo: 10800

Are these prices are right?.....nxt sat. i'm planing to get my PC.

on which shop i'll get best deal including prime and E-lounge?
Pls suggest .

i got gigabyte 785GMT-USB3 + X2 555BE for 11k from elaunge ... unlocked it to quadcore very easily

I finally bought my rig on Sat(22/0510) from prime abgb(@Lammy).

AMD Phenom 555BE

Gigabyte GA-MA-785GMT-USB3

2GB Kingston DDR-III 1333MHz

320GB WD SATA

Currently I had taken Cabinet & PSU of Local Brand ..Later I'll change it once i'll hav money.

Ice on the cake .. Unlocked 2 Quad core without any effort ...tested 4 stability with prime95 for 7hrs...0 errors...0 Warning... ..Hurrey...
