Check your XMP/EXPO settings in the BIOS. Disable it and check again. Also update to the latest non-beta BIOS with one stick and see if that resolves the issue.

I recall some online articles and YouTube videos mention that DDR5 platform being new with Zen4 you should be patient when you first boot because BIOS takes very long time to "train" itself to detect the correct RAM settings?

If both sticks are working properly individually then just make sure you are seating both of them in the correct alternate slots and then wait patiently during first boot after making your BIOS settings changes.

If both RAM works individually on all the slots then just boot with a single stick and update to latest BIOS and try again.
BIOS update is highly recommended on new platforms regardless.

this happens with my rams too.
the only solution for me is to reseat them repeatedly until it works.
also, they only work together in specific slots, have marked the one close to cpu with a marker.
have been thru 2 kits of ram, still the same issue.
i suspect my gigabyte mobo is the reason.

What CPU do you have? Maybe it's an issue with the CPU's memory controller?

so it works after updating the bios and changing preset from auto to non-expo.
but now I found my crucial mx500 ssd is not working.
Check your AHCI settings, and ensure that it's enabled.

Disable legacy boot and set it to UEFI only.

Does the drive not show up in the BIOS or is it not booting?
