Hello Friends .. just to kill time I created two apps for my HD2 
hyeah: ... however similar apps are already there 
PCB (Phone Contact Backup) : Does contact backup, restore, format the display name of contact
FlashSMS : Sends Flash SMS
I have tested both apps on HD2 and works great .. also tested on WM 6.1, 6.5, 6.5.1, 6.5.2 and 6.5.3
So now if u want then u can also test both of them on your Windows Mobile (it should work on WM 5 too)
I used .NET CF 3.5 so u may need to install .NET CF runtime which u can download from here ... Download details: .NET Compact Framework 3.5 Redistributable
