PC Peripherals PCIe rails??

Hi guys....I'm quiet a noob. so please forgive if i'm wrong...
i have an XFX 8600GT and my psu is cm extreme 600W. In the PSU manual it is given that there are two pcie connectors...but i don't see an option in my card to plug in these connectors. I've just plugged in the 8600GT in the pcie slot of my mobo. So in that case...my doubt is whether my card will get the required power...

I dont think the 8600GT needs power through the extra connectors. Those are for higher end cards

8600GT does not have PCIe power inputs... Only 8600GTS and above (in Dx10 genre) have power inputs...
