Peerguardian making me paranoid

I recently installed peerguardian...but nw, the number of blocked attempts it is showing is making me kinda paranoid....
Just look at the screenshots....
The images show the blocked history for just 1 single day....notice the scroll bar to get an idea of the number of ip's blocked

Any comments? Is this normal or am I really being targeted?

lol....just for ur info...the IP's that are blocked are more of the ones that you are trying to access and not vice versa...and most of the times the dont even matter...
If u would check up PG2 it blocks a lot of Ip's....so dont worry just enjoy..PG infact now even blocks valve's ips dunno y :P

ummm...not too sure...e.g. in the scrshots above, my ip is the 61.247.x.x one which does show as the source for some, but say if u look at time warner or Fujitsu entries, their IPs are listed as the sources...

Anyway, maybe I am just displaying paranoia...

BTW what's the deal iwth China railcom or those other Chines IPs ,...way too many of em :huh: wonder why?
 
i think its both ways.
if u r dloading then they r the source and ur the destination.
if ur uploading then ur the source and they the destination....coz they try to connect to u to dload from you.
 
What were u sing? BT? They are probably trying to send u fake files, and check whether u are uploading copyrighted files.

As for the chinese thing, well some dude has put stuff on those comps (rampant piracy, bad security - but even CERN was once hosting Doom3!!!!!!) and PG wisely decides it is best to block gov sites, cos if they find out they can get u screwed (if u were in China or wherever)
