try running this software h2testw
if any error are detected then it is a fake one.... or try formatting it with hp utility

i tried h2testw utility,At the point of select target ,whenever i am choosing pen drive drive latter ,windows says format it first ,n again same thing happens, format failed :(,
is there any tool which can format it from the scratch?Already tried hiren boot disk and tried all the partition tools also but i think they are not for flash drives.

even although the package cover is missing, you can request RMA by visiting ACCEEL service ceter near you.they will help you !.MArkings on the Tip can trace it details via Kingston database.

dude try formatting it in ms dos ,it once helped me to recover my pen drive that had became inaccessible after it was infected by some virus....

tried already,,, no success

Well, since you have already tried the above mentioned software...if you don't mind trying a slightly advanced tool...try Parted Magic. Yes, its an overkill for your needs, but there are a lot of utilities in there to fix things up. If you have a friend who works on linux, then even better...you'll save some time.
