Pantel Technologies have launched a new tablet in India which goes by the name of T-Pad IS701C. This is a tablet running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 7 inch multi touch capacitive touch screen display with a resolution of 800 x 480, and it is capable of displaying 16 million colours. the screen has an aspect ratio of 16 : 9 and is being pwoered by a 1 GHz processor. It also has the usual features, such as Wi fi, and also supports 2G/3G via USB dongles.

Penta have done a partnership with the largest Pan India telecom company, BSNL to make the Tablet reach rural areas also. The Tablet comes pre-loaded with certain popular apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Angry Birds and Skype. The Tablet by Penta is priced very competitively at Rs 4,999.
