Saw the date after I posted my comment :)

Anyways am still interested in a Pentium D805 'cause that's the most my mobo can support :hap2:
I suggest you upgrade both your mobo and cpu (if you can).

Trust me, while the D805 was a good processor (I never could overclock it, though OC potential why I chose it), I was constantly worried about temperatures. It really heats up, and it's not very efficient.

The E2160, OOTH, is brilliant. It's not one of the better C2D's, but it's very good all the same. My 2160 runs at 1.2ghz most of the time (as compared to the D805's 2.66ghz), but everything is so much faster than before. Plus,it runs really cool.

It doesn't make sense spending money on a D805 as it has no upgrade potential. No new boards support 533mhz (this was my biggest beef with the P35 boards). A better solution would be to pick up an E2xxx and a P3x/G3x mobo. It's future-proof, well, as much as LGA775 can be these days:P
