Finally went ahead with HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2146AX

Uninstalled all the bloatware I could find. So far so good! Screen seems to have some bleeding at the bottom. But that's expected of IPS displays I guess.

Would you guys recommend to buy an extended warranty for this laptop as well?

Yes. Check out how much it costs. 3 year extended warranty would be great for peace of mind.

Purchased 2 year extended warranty. Total 1 (free) + 2 (extended) = 3 years. Couldn't find 3 year extension option
