PES 2008 not compatible with WinXp 64 bit?

Hi guys, I had purchased the PES'08 sometime last year, hadnt had the time to install it, did so last nite, after all the hype about the 09 versions.

To my surprise after I clicked the install button, I got a message saying 'Your OS is not adequate to complete installation'???

Anyone else out there that had these issues??

PS- It is the ahem version

there is a diff method to install it on the xp x64.

i have it written down somewhere on my system.

lemme search for it. will tell you in a bit.

THanks stormy...I did get that page, when I googled, I guess Ill have copy the entire dvd to my hdd, and then replace the setup file!..such a painful process!

Edit: are u the same guy that bot the PES'09 for the PS3 from Chaztin on GI??
