Monitors Philips 200W6CS 20" LCD... available in India ?

Hello all...
this is my first post here, so i hope this is the correct place to post this type of question.

i've been looking for a widescreen lcd for some time now...
20 or 20.1 inch is my choice of size & WSXGA (1680x1050) is my choice of resolution.

it is to be used for watching hi-def movies, casual gaming etc.

my question is if anybody around here knows for sure wether the Philips 200W6CS 20" LCD is available in India ? and where (preferably in Delhi) may I be able to pick one up ?

so, my guess is it should be available.

would anyone please suggest any other 20/20.1" (1680x1050) widescreen lcd within the budget of 35k available in India ?

DELL 2005FWP is another option, but the only place i've seen it available in india is ebay.in (which i do not feel comfortable buying from) & the price (37.5k) is a little out of my budget.

That monitor is available on demand. Not many will stock it but if you ask your dealer he should be able to place an order for you and get it withing a week.

Someone i know have bought this monitor a while ago. Its great to work on but its horrible for gaming as it shows considerable ghosting.

2005FPW hardly has any ghosting... completely gameworthy. However 37.5K for it is a total ripoff... I got mine a week back for 400$

do you think a price of SG$ 940 is fair for 2005fpw ?

a cousin is in singapore & i have to decide by tonight at the latest which one i want...

i know it is still not anywahere near 400usd but that appears to be the only option i have. & if you consider 37.5k, it look fair. what do you guys say ?

yeah... go ahead and buy then... it is still 10,000 Rs cheaper than Indian prices. And if that is your only option, then go ahead all the best!!! And oh yeah... Welcome to TE

I think Viewsonic 2025wm will be a better choice for a 20.1" widescreen LCD monitor for the same price range (if you are buying in India). Its listed on the Viewsonic India site http://ap.viewsonic.com/in/products/productspecs.php?id=264 (so i think it should be available at some dealers).
