Philips DVP5965/98 DVD and Creative Inspire 5.1 5200

Hi folks,

I am looking to buy a DVD player soon. I am thinking of buying the Phillips DVD P5965/98 DVD or any other players that you people might suggest hyeah:

DVP5965K/98 DVD and home theater Home entertainment Philips

Also, I plan to upgrade my TV from the present Samsung Vision Plus 22" to 29PT8836/94 Pixel Plus TV (conventional) TV Philips

Now what use would it be watching a movie without good sound? While I plan to buy a good speaker set (?Jamo) and A-V receiver (?Denon) in the future, for the moment I have to try to connect my Creative speakers to the DVD player.

Can I connect my computer speakers Creative Inspire 5.1 5200 to the DVD player? Or do I need special connectors? How do I go about it?

It has connectors for 5.1 audio, right? Or wrong? This way, I can hook up my Creative Inspire 5.1 to this?

The DVP5965K/98 has option for connecting the 5.1 setup I guess.

The 3046 is an Entry-level DivX/Xvid Player. I don't think someone should go with that.
