Philips SHP9000 CINEOS Cans

^ Not really sumchamp :(. I am having a difficult time with my Xonar DX , though it's not the best but it's still a decent sound card.

I have to use the MX 5021's control pod which has a built in amplifier to get a good output , other wise they volume is too low .

Even my friend for whom I got this was complaining about low output from his Laptop(expected) as well as Cowon D2 (which usually drives even the RE-0 well enough.)Even a Fiio E5 didn't really work well with it.

So I think one might have to invest in a decent DAC/ amp for this.Anyway's since it's been hardly 25 hours of burn-in i really cant raw conclusions.

You guy's will have to wait gor a full review :P
 
This model isn't available in any croma outlets in blore. What was even weirder was that their inventory showed the model as being discontinued and price of Rs 1444/-

Anyway, would be much obliged if anyone can buy the headphones for me.

ooops :ashamed: I completely forgot about the PL-12's .I dont even remember how they sound exactly .. but I still remember that they were awesome for the price . I seriously need to write a mini-review atleast so that budget buyers know about the PL-12.

I inquired at 2-3 different croma stores and the status in their system shows that they are discontinued .Maybe they came to know about their price good up :rofl:
I will try another 1-2 stores and see if I can arrange for it incase they have stock remaining :).
 
after reading about this called up to croma stores in bangalore and personally checked them, but cud not find one :no:, tried ezone (100 ft road) they are having SHP8900 for RS 3695 :O:

just get all the 9000 if u find any. I will visit all cromaS in bangalore to chk the avialability.
 
^^ You dont need to visit all the Croma's to get it :P. Visit any of the croma store or for that matter even if you call the local Croma number they will tell you the availability/stock of a particular model in any of the Croma outlets in the city.
 
Bangalore definitely doesn't have it; if you can get it in Mumbai then it will definitely sell here :D

My trustly shp 805 is close to death from the number of times I've sat on the cable on my chair :hap2:
