Hey guys ..

Need an advice regarding phone.

A frnd of mine plans to get a new phone for himself soon enuf..
and he has 2 basic requirements:

1) Should support GPS
2) Allow him to create a shortcut, enabling him to send 'In Meeting, Call u soon' or smthing similar sorta msg when he is busy.

This frnd of mine has a really tedious job and can barely take time out for himself due to the hectic schedule he follows.. (that shd explain the second requirement)
i am clueless on this front and maybe somebody here wd reply to this query of mine soon enuf.. :)
Thanks In Advance.. :hap2:

Ah yea.. pls do quote the price too .. :)

and do highlight other salient features, like sturdiness, ease of use etc.. infact a good link wd do just fine. ;)

thanks again ..

any windows mobile with a GPS will do. There are many application around where you can reject a call, and automatically send a sms or whatever. (i haven't tried much but i believe there is a software call "Magic Call" for windows and symbain which works pretty well).

i am pretty sure you will get something similar for symbian or blackberry too.

Most current high end Symbian S60 and WM phones will be able to that.

You dont even need any 3rd party application on S60 phones like N82 or E71 to send those messages when he is busy. The option comes by default when you hit silence key.

So N82, E71, 6210 Navigator, all can do what is needed.

even the older s60 phones like n73 have that feature. there is an option called "send sms on call reject" under settings.

Guys hows the SE P1i ..?

i mean overall usability and how close will that one come to the above specified requirements..??

frnd says he ll get a good discount due to some corporate tie ups..
