10-15K Phone for Dad to check office outlook e-mails

Guys,

I'm planning to get a phone for my dad. He need to configure his office outlook so that he can check e-mails. Please suggest which one should I go for in the budget of 10K to 15K. He is looking for good battery life. Options I have considered:

Lumia 520
Lumia 720 (Considering this due to high capacity battery)

Please suggest whether WP8 will be good or he should go with Android.

A: TFT
4. Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them.
A: Nokia or any other brand with good battery backup
5. Preferred input method (Touchscreen, QWERTY, etc.)?
A: Touchscreen
6. Camera required or not? If required, please specify type like front camera/flash/etc.
A: Required a 5MP camera. Flash.
7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A: Windows, Android
8. Preferred connectivity options? (3G, Wifi, Edge etc).
A: Edge, Wifi
9. What is your intended use for this phone(internet, camera, multimedia, mails, etc)?
A: mails and internet.
10. Any other requirements?
A: No
11. If you have already considered a phone then please mention the model.
A: Nokia Lumia

If he plans to use exchange on mobile - WP is the best. If you want to do it on an Android, you may have to buy a separate mail app.

Lumia 520 does not have flash.

I hope Lumia series provide good battery back-up. So I guess Lumia 720 is worth the extra price.
I use exchange on iPhone and it works good. If somebody is using exchange on Lumia can you please comment on experience.

I use Exchange (with ActiveSync) on Windows Phone 8 heavily and it has never let me down. Best mobile e-mail app I have used. Definitely go for 720, I would say it is even better value than 520.

Thanks for quick inputs. I'm also getting suggestion to look for Xperia L. This phone market is so confusing…
