This phone is to replace my dad's current samsung galaxy ace. He makes quite a lot of calls and plays the occasional chess or so. Also he likes to use it as a mobile entertainment unit viz. songs and videos while on the go.
I have considered Galaxy Note 2 for its large screen size and S-pen capability. I would like to know if there are better options. Hardware wise the phone need not be super-beefy, it should be fast and not lag. Also camera quality must be good for the occasional pics .
