phone for my dad-help needed

guys,
i need to buy a new phone for my dad..
i'm for something for a lifestyle/fashion with good music playback and a nice camera..

currently only two models are coming into my mind:

SAMSUNG D820
LG KG800 CHOCOLATE

wat do u guys think abt the two..the LG choc looks very good and i'm kinda inclined towards buying that..

but i need ur inputs on this one...any good reviews, any one using these phones...any help wud be greatly appreciated..
need to buy it in a day or two..

Budget i take is around 15k. .

Lg choc looks very good and the slide action is also very good but the camera and the mp3 playback are nothing to write about.
D520 although slim in my opinion looks pretty cheap. .It does every thing better then choc . .
I will suggest you have a look at k610i(silver) from sony. It has better camera and music then both above phones and is priced at 14k .
And honestly is the best lookin phone out there in the market. (of course not counting the choc. ). It is pretty slim too.
 
Hmmm but i dont think w800i is strictly for younger people. . The orange colour is very bright and showy. . Maybe he can consider w700i

i was talking abt the Samsumng D820..not the 520..wat do u think of that...very slim...pretty reviews from users too..

also, W800i is not sumthing i wud buy my dad..too flashy...

LG chocolate is out of the race cos it has only 128 MB shared memory with no expansion options!!

havnt considered the k610i...i just feel that the slim slider design with black overalls looks a lot more stylish..!!

as of now my eyes are pinned on the D820...for 15k its a great deal i think..
although please feel free to post ur disagreements on this..

i agree with u that N series phones are better but my dad doesnt exactly need a smartfone..
basic features, good camera, good music capability, and great looks is wat i want for him..
 
think about the sony k750i and the motorola motorazr V3i(or even the L7),if u want the phone to make a classy style statement.along with good looks,they r great phones overall too.

finally bought my dad a LG chocolate...
it just blew me with its looks..and the touchpad buttons are damn cool..
its low on features compared to the samsung but beats it hands down on the looks dept..
the only downers to the phone are:
low internal memory
and its a LG!!

dad was thrilled by the phone...objective completed..
