Recently got Samsung M35 5G 8+128GB for my MIL at 16.5k off Amzn plus some cashback on CC. No complaints so far in about a month and half. It replaced Samsung A71 whose screen had gone bad.

Techno camon 20 pro
This might or might not work for you
What I did
Replaced
iphone 7 128gb 8900₹ with 20pro paid 7000₹ extra
Iphone 6s 128gb 7500₹ with 9500₹ extra
Bought 2 techno 20 camon pro
What I like about the phone 5g , 8gb ram, clean no ads ui, bootloader unlock with custom kernel and kernelsu with susf module which makes it undetectable to banking apps or any app serach for rooted phone , ddolby atmos module which make sound amazing
Rooting I explained which is not for your moms needs BUT the instant you can you kernelsu on any phone that phone innitself is great cause this type of rooting is not possible on majority of phones but undetectable
5000mah full day battery
My mum uses the other phone

Get a Samsung, as the UI is absolutely perfectly perfect for parents.
My grandparents switched from Button phones to Samsung (9000rs one), and were happy.

Later when my grandma wanted to try out some other brand, as influence by seeing others, I got her a Redmi phone
And within a month she started asking if there is any way to return it and have the money back.
She was pissed off at the UI, difficult to find stuff, and to operate.

Your budget is really good. Rs. 30000
YOu can easily get one of the top notch Galaxy A series phones at around 24k, which would be the dealbreaker to you (just imo)
