So, i came across a lot of phones online which are on relatively very low prices but on the condition of seller's warranty i.e. I wont get any bill, but the seller will provide 6 month software warranty. I am interested in buying a cell. Should i buy it?? Can i get paid services at service centres without bill? I am really confused..

I am not sure what software warranty will cover. I am guessing if your phone has some issues with existing ROM, the seller will flash some stock ROM and give it back to you. You can do it yourself.

It is somewhat ok if the seller is in the same city. You can atleast go to him in person and show him the phone. If he is from other city, i am sure he would hang up as soon as you say "i got a phone from you few months back and there is some issue with it"

Service centres might service phones if that phone is released in India. If its not, it can be a little difficult to get it serviced.

you can check ebay there are lots of good sellers with sufficent positive feedbacks who provide 1 year complete hardware and software warranty. You could also actually ask the seller for atleast 7 days replacement warranty, that way if ur handset develops problems u can atleast get it exchanged.

I feel any genuine dealer who is selling genuine products wouldnt object to allowing you to test his product for 7 days, if it is open box handset.

actually the fone is from site maniacstore.com ... nd yes, the phone ws launched in india. The main issue is if the service centre ppl asks for bills even for paid services. Because once i went to sony service centre to get my gifted walkman (mp3 player) repaired, and they didnt put their hands on without the invoice even i asked for a paid service.

Better spend a few extra bucks and go with manufacturer warranty and sleep peacefully at night. Still, its you call.
