Hi all photography wizards..

I was Gifted this superb camera, Yashica Electro 35 (GSN Series) by my uncle.

I googled abt the cam and got the info that this is a classic camera and enjoyed a rollercoaster ride when it came out (1964).

Even till today many professional camera guys appreciate this camera.

The camera is capable of producing some really good qwality pics and i hv clicked a few myself.

Nw the problem is .. i dont hv the manual for it.. secondly .. i found some so called manuals bt were not very accurate.. i mean for a pro it mst be gud enuf.. bt for an amateur like me .. nope ..

It has got all the settings around the lens for setting up photos in highly bright conditions, cloudy and dark .. plus the aperture settings and what not..

really beats me hollow at times .. :S

I wd really appreciate if any of u guys can giv me some tips or provide me anything which wd giv me a crash cource and gives me a start..

And Ur suggestions on the cam are def welcome ..

Okay, things like Aperture, Exposure, Shutter Speed etc. are applicable to all cameras, whether digital or not. Once you gain an understanding of all these terms... its just a matter of experimenting and gaining experience... both of which reading any number of guides wont do... you have to do for yourself. Unfortunately unlike with a digicam... there is the cost involved of film that you have to pay to gain experience... but in the end its gonna be worth it :)
