Photos of Indian Aviation - Planespotting

@m-jeri as of now 380 dnt operate in Indian skies but dgca cleared them to fly ....so might see 380 in indian skies soon. Those pics are taken while she came for aviation show in hyd recently.
Also they cannot operate on all major airstrips due to the length required for landing and take off right? Only a few airports in India have the length of runway as required by the 380. mostly the ones developed recently.

Yeah length of the runways is one reason. Also most of the aprons doesn't support the weight of this fully loaded beast.
The cargo apron of hyderabad has been relaid altogether just to support the weight of fully loaded md11. Wonder what changes gonna be made once 380 is cleared to operate.

Captured it in Bangalore Science museum premises

[DOUBLEPOST=1408468093][/DOUBLEPOST]I'm just perplexed to see the amount of buttons and dials in the cockpit.

Most are redundant and duplicates, allowing easy viewing of their readings to all the crews members (pil0t, co-pilot and flight engineer).

And newer aircrafts are going full digital with multiple larger touch-interface based MFD. E.g.,

This is an original MiG-21 cockpit.

An updated MiG-21 Bis cockpit. Note the MFDs on the right where the older aircraft has the RADAR scope and miscellaneous dials and information lights.

Only the newer airports developed under the PPP clause in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi have the capability to accommodate the A380 as far as I am aware.
