php scripts not running online while work nicely in offline mode..PLease Help

i installed XAMPP for mysql and apache service and its running and i can run the .php files offline and its working nicely but when i upload the php files to change something in the database etc its not working at all , even simple echo statement php files not working on the site... please help , m noob in all this stuff.:bleh:

Are you sure that php is installed on your server?

What errors you get, can you please specify?

I'm quite sure that you haven't configured your database properly.

Maybe the server name needs to be specified. Check that. localhost will work for local machines, but not for some hosting accounts.

Chek for proper file permissions as well..

this is due to some configuration problem from the server side , solved NOW
