yeah but ps3, people are forgetting its the successor to a console that crushed Xbox and Gamecube combined!
 
woah, looks amazing, is this going to be my first next gen console? maybe ;)

regarding PS3 having a lead or anything, well this time, both are neck and neck, so you really cant guess who is gonna come out on top, but looking at the way MS came from nowhere to be a tough competetion to Sony is pretty amazing to say the least
 
Holy Crap, ATI's R520 at work. PS3 is gonna be good too but somehow looking at PS2 am not too optimistic as the pricing is gonna be overthetop...
 
Guys that ain't the PS3 controller, its a prototype of a PC controller, its called the Reflex Control under development by some company called Whitefusion. Gamespot comments on it as a bogus hoax anyway.

As for the pricing, Billy boy "accidentally" revealed that XBox 360 will have two versions, the regular without HDD priced at $299 and the "entertainment" one with HDD for $399. So, Sony will have to be competitive.
As for me, I'll do the same thing I did at the respective launch of PS2 and XB.....I'll buy em both!
 
yea dOOd, ur a rich guy, bu seriously, 300 $ for it is pretty cheap, looks like this is gonna be my first next gen console :P
 
Are both of these consoles backward compatible?????I'll get the PS3 as soon as the modchip for it is out :D.

AFAIk...the XBOX is BW compatible.......but thier game collection is rather very tiny compared to PS2

Nope. Xbox 360 is not backwards compatible out of the box. You have to buy the HDD add-on in order to make it backwards compatible. Or simply put, u pay more moolah, and u get backwards compatibility.
Also, PS3 will be compatible with PS2. Hence, it has better chance of outdoing the sales of the Xbox 360.
