Pirate Pay is a Russian creation that tracks and shuts down copyright material on BitTorrent. The Pirate Pay startup has created a way to attack BitTorrent swarms in order to make it impossible to share files. The Microsoft Seed fund [RU] has already invested $100k into the company and last year Walt Disney Studios Sony Pictures Releasing (WDSSPR) [RU] tested Pirate Pay’s services. To put the process through its paces, Pirate Pay scaled to protect the film “Vysotsky. Thanks to God, I am Alive” and successfully blocked 45,000 attempts to download it.

Sooner or later piracy will come to and. I just don't see that happening in the next 5 years and perhaps not even in the next 10 years. And it may not finish completely but won't remain worthwhile for most people. One of the big enemies will be integration of cloud computing with everything.

people cannot stop piracy, whatever way they tried to close, they open the other way.

Wrong. Ever heard of a pirated gmail account? Even if an account is hacked, it is temporary. A time will come when piracy would not be worth it or may not exist in much measure at all. But this time could be well 15-30+ years ahead of us.

Exactly, pirates are genius. They will prepare something else if torrents and trackers gets dead.

unless you use the pirated one for your own educational purpose, its good.
if you reproduce or sell it, it ain't good.
learn something to pro, then get the paid version.

Same feelings, I feel good when I actually buy applications. That is the reason I have purchase so many games and applications even when they were available on torrents and warez sites. Pricing of the content should be kept low so that people will think of purchasing it rather than getting an illegal copy.

I hope, in future there will be enough security for digital media and applications to restrict the piracy.
