Storage Solutions Pl suggest an External HDD with 500GB capacity

M looking fer one of those fer my HD movies as my 250GB is running out of space. :ashamed:

Will be sourcing one from US..

Since I've an e-sata port I think I can put tat to use..

Can someone pl suggest me some good 500GB drives??

wats ur budget .. the plain WD my book is arnd 5k nowadays but its w/o esata connection .. otherwise WD studio edition is a nice buy (its got firewire,esata,usb) .. Otherwise i recently saw a Lacie 500gb sell for arnd $100 on clubit.com

Get a good and reliable drive ,you wouldn't want the data to be destroyed in it ,and regret getting a cheaper one.Get a buffalo.

get the 500Gb WD for 4.5-5k. local warranty on a HDD is imp IMO.

I am currently using a Maxtor OneTouch 500 GB drive (USB only though). It's a simple no-frills drive.

get the Western Digital My Book Essential Edition for 4.8k

I wud reccomend Seagate,Maxtor One touch or Buffalo.If you read through Amazon,WD is one of the worst and I have experience too.
