I just placed an order for a samsung laptop for Rs.18833 on letsshop.in.

Great deals on Samsung RV NP-RV409-A02IN Notebook (DualTone Silver Black) | Letsshop.in

I'll be paying cash on delivery.

Has anyone bought from here before? Is the site reliable?

And is my choice of lappie alright?

How are samsung laptops in general?

Does anyone know if I'll be charged octroi in Pune, and how much it'll be?

I know I should have asked all this before I placed the order, but I do silly things sometimes :ashamed:
 
This is the first time I am hearing about such a website. Since you chose cash on delivery, there is nothing much to worry.

Need to worry with New Player if product arrive with DOA or any mishandling.

OP, DO NOT ACCEPT courier if you suspect any damage with packaging or any ulteration - like tape removed & stick again any wear & tear with receipt/box or cello tape over the box- immediate call to customer care & inform them.

If courier by BlueDart than you can be 99% assure that there will not damage or any trick with your product.

Three days after placing the order I called the website and was told they don't do cash on delivery for laptops. They cancelled my order (only after I called to follow up), but instead of being pissed off I was a bit relieved.

I called for a Toshiba Satellite C Series C665-P5010 Laptop Without Accessories for Rs. 18876 from Flipkart on the 10th of December, 2 minutes after I got off the phone with Letsshop.in.
Flipkart called me literally 2.5 minutes after I'd placed the order online to confirm my order and address. It was due on the 17th of December, but they called me this morning and told me that my order might be delayed by upto 3 days.
I've called for the lappie for a friend who's out of town, so the delay doesn't bother me. I'm quite pleased that Flipkart called me to inform me about the delay instead of making me wait, and then informing me when I called their call centre.

I was contemplating ordering an Asus X54H-SX136D with 4GB RAM for Rs.20,190 from ebay. But wasn't sure if the item was new/undamaged since the seller specifies that I have to go to an Asus service centre if the laptop is DOA.

I need to call for another low-budget laptop, and this one's really tempting.

Would I be charged octroi for the laptops in Pune? And does anyone know how much it would be?
 
The IGP spec for the ASUS laptop is wrong. AFAIK, HD3000 on a Pentium? I dont think so.

Also, the images seem to be differant. Just have a check before ordering.
 
It's a Sandy Bridge Pentium - B950.. so the HD3000 is possible.

But you're right about the images. The sellers just stuck the first laptop pics he could find in the ad.
 
Hey, I had similar doubts initially... was sceptic so placed an order on COD around 10 PM. Was purchasing mobile (Samsung Galaxy Y with them (letsshop.in) , surprisingly received it next day around 2 PM (roughly 14 hours from the time of delivery). looks pretty neat to me.

is the site fraud or this "sugandha" guy is fraud..That site looks pretty decent to me...and now...dont call me a fraud for questioning..lol..
 
Whats your point? I have already mentioned above that Sugandha = letsshop ,If the site looks decent to you then go ahead and order from them , they dont have any items to ship , they will just take your money and earn interest on it and return it after few months , just google letsshop fraud .

what in the world made you guys think I am from LetsShop?

if posting a review makes me from letsShop,does posting a negative review makes you working for their competitor?

You are not fooling anyone, Why would you bump up a old thread about letsshop with your very first post in this forum?

You have been caught using multiple ids ( devangp & letsshop.in ) and praising letsshop before in this thread http://www.desidime....-cheating-sight and in many others , I am not wasting any more time on you, people here can decide on their own who is right , there is enough evidence against letsshop already on google.

Admin what about Devang then, he’ been posting about letsshop & letsshop only ever since he joined Desidime earlier this morning. I usually welcome genuine newbies at desidime but not this time for sure. I have neither bought their Mydala voucher nor from letsshop but still many of our fellow dimers did fall a prey to this scheme. That’s my only concern!

Still no answers have been provided by him to a few questions of mine, as yet & looks like he’s here just to play the blame game. Stop passing the buck if you officially represent Letsshop or are even thier solicitor.I believe you officially represent them, if it’s a positive, then provide reliable services to your customers instead of feeding them vague excuses!

Why did you take off certain products off your site after the coupon deal was on?

Why did you change the deal details after buying the coupons.

Don’t you have a separate allocation of funds for promotions, that you wanna make profits out of every transaction you make?

Sometimes it’s good enough to break even. Especially when there are so many other vendors who are ready to do so.

the reason i bumped in to this thread was i was searching for samsung RV NP-RV409-A02IN laptop as for price comparison on google and saw this post on the first page itself. read something that i didn't agree with and just wanted to share my experience with the guys at letsshop.in

reinstating, I just shared my experience and you are unnecessarily freaking out.. go out and cool your head off. I am done wasting my time here.

That's even faster than Amazon or Newegg who offer overnight delivery but require you to place the order much earlier than 10 pm! Also, please tell me how did you buy any Call of Duty (COD) game from them? Last I checked, no games on any system are offered! I'd love to get a reply...

COD is "Cash on Delivery" not Call of Duty

By the way the delivery time is phenomenal. So efficient and still people complain. Whats wrong with the world
