Planning on changing home broadband connection,Please suggest an ISP

Currently I have a BSNL 512kbps unlimited plan.The bandwidth is just not enough nowadays even for facebook.

Please suggest broadband services in bangalore with unlimited download and bandwidth preferably >2mbps and or atleast 1mbps after FUP.I'm also open to applying for cable internet services.
 
one of my friends is using it for almost 10 years now right from the iqara days and recently another friend of mine has put the 1122 pack for 6 months and he gets the mentioned speeds but torrent sites are blocked

That plan has been upgraded iinm.
You just have to give an application to the nodal office, requesting the shifting of network from NIB to Multiplay.
But the DL speeds after the fup is 512kbps, so that is the only thing missing out from your requirement list.
 
Guys,my brother says he tried YOU broadband in his office and the connection keeps getting cut. My next option is ACT. I'll call them tomorrow and see if its available here.I'm looking at taking the 1299 plan.Lets hope they have service in vijayanagar.

EDIT: I just found out from the website that its not available in my area.I'll call them again to confirm.What is the best unlimited plan offered by the big companies like reliance and airtel?I'm looking for plans with the best post-FUP speed

I am Following on ACT BB coverage from Few months. They are Entering Vijayanagar I think as per other forum. Just enquire mail the official dude of the company: actian@acttv.in
 
^^Unfortunately i just got my Airtel connection yesterday,150GB 2mbps(Rs.1999 p.m).I'm hoping this wil do for us.Else I'll check up about Act.Thanks
