Hi,

I am planning to buy a new PC.My budget is around 30,000.I have already decided to go with the new Dell 22'' flat panel with the Webcam.

I have a confusion regarding the processors and the mother boards.I would like to know whether shall i go for AMD or Intel. Which one is better. Are there heating issues with AMD?What is the difference between the AMD Phenom and the Intel Q6600.The other processors that i have also checked are the Intel E8200/E6750 and AMD Athlon X2 5600+/6000+.I am not much into gaming. So i guess the 8600 series will be good GPU.

Would also like to get some information on a good Cabinet with PSU.
Also i am looking for a bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

What all do you already have . If you are planning to buy all the parts then with 2208 wfp already decided it is difficult to build a rig with the other parts you have mentioned in 30,000.

if you are assigning 30,000 apart from the money you have assigned for the lcd then you can build a good system.

i think u need to minus 15 k from the budget for that screen , left with the 15 k this is what i guess u can get

e2160 + evga mobo it with onboard gpu - 6 k - 8 k or may be any other combo u can fit in there.
2gb ram - 2 k
dvd rw - 1.2
generic cabinet + psu - 1 k
speakers - 1
hdd - 160gb 2.1 k
keyboard + mouse - .5

If your budget is just 14K (30K - 16K cost of monitor) go with AMD.
Get a processor like 4400 X2, a G690 based mobo (forget about discreet GFX card), a generic PSU+cabinet, 1GB RAM, 160GB HD etc.
But this is a comp you will regret building unless you want to use it just for surfing net and watch movies because this is just waste of 30K.

if you decide to go with a normal 19" TFT you can get a better PC that will serve you well for at least two years without ever lagging like a horse with no teeth.

Can u tell us what exact config are u looking for apart for the display & Mobo+CPU. So we can help u better........

30k budget for d whole pc and 15k done for d monitor already..

U must be left with an amd rig then.. Else settle for a 19incher model and then get an intel rig..

Post ur requirements first..

firstly...if v r suppose to deduct lcd's money from 30k....den tell me som thin....y such an xpensive lcd..go for som thin lik viewsonic 19"....o some thin....if graphic card is not d concern....stck wit 8600gt...but hit q6600...its a beautiful piece of electronics.....go for 2*1gb ddr2 ram n a mere 500w of psu wud b enough....i'm a fan of abit mobos...so i wud recommend dat.....check out moi rig may b u'll get som ideas.

please state your usage. if you're not gonna game with it , what ARE you going to do with it then.

PS : what speakers do you have /planning to get ;)
