CPU/Mobo Planning to buy new CPU & MOBO!!

Hy Guys,

Im planning to buy AMD Phenom II 965 3.4 Ghz / 955 3.2 Ghz
(wich one you suggest, is there any intel processor with same price & performance range?)

And MOBO with 3 or 4 PCIe slots so that i could use my ATI 5770 for crossfire in future, i also hv a Ge force 9500 and wana use it for physx processing only!
(plz sugesst a good one, budget 9k).

Rig is purly for gamming, everthing else secondry!!!!

Mention how much are you willing to spend i can give you configuration from 25 k to 2lakh with present tech specs..

you need combo =9k? or just mobo of 9k??

if you need 4 sli slots you can go for evga 4 way sli classified[for intel]
if u need 3 sli slots evga again has 3 way sli [intel based]
i suggest you to but sli \cross fire board so you have more options later on, x58 extreme boards from gigabyte comes with those offers with usb 3.0

My budget is 18k, is there any mobo with sli/crossfire in ASUS.

You can stick with AMD PII 965 as not much price difference compared to 955, but an i5 will give better performance, although the difference in games may not be much.
For Mobo if you go with AMD chipset you get x8 dual PCI connection
and the MSI 790FX-GD70 is 10K,

4 PCIe slots, 2@16 and 2@8.
with giga n asus costlier.
965 + MSI790FX-GD70 -> 20K

P55 -> MSI P55 GD80 -> 13K but 1@16, 1@8, 1@4, So phyx card will be @4x

So you are looking at 20K+ for CPU mobo with i5

hy guy i just saw on net, that Phenom II x2 555BE is unlockable to x4 B55,

How or which mobo will b able to do it?

Plz answer this could save me few buks!!!!
