Just go for the SGR, you wont regret the 3K Extra spent on it!

What are your requirements? If you can stretch your budget upto 19~20k, go for Xperia pro as others have suggested. If you can stretch it to 21k, buy Samsung Galaxy S Plus. Samsung Galaxy R is not available anywhere but ebay. There it costs north of 23k.

The only differences between Xperia pro and Neo V are better 8MP camera and QWERTY keypad and the thickness are almost the same. If you dont need qwerty keypad and not worried too much about camera (Neo V has decent camera), buy Neo V and save 2.5k.

And if you are fine with dealer warranty (If your phone starts giving any problem, you will have to contact dealer and will have to send it to him for repairs, and some dealers will give only software warranty), you can get Neo V at 14.5~15k in Ebay.

The Xperia Neo & Pro will get the ICS update .. any such news for the Galaxy R ?

Yep. It will be updated to ICS by Samsung.
