SPORTS addicts down under are fuming that their plasma TV screens are unable to take hours of watching their favourite sports channels.
Apparently if you watch live coverage where the TV channel has its logo on the screen, a plasma monitor will fuse the logo onto that part of the screen forever.
According to News.com, here, some owners have threatened legal action saying their screens have been ruined after watching cricket or motor racing.
Apparently they are not thinking of suing the plasma screen companies for not coming up with a technical solution to the problem. Instead it is the TV channels they are considering setting their briefs upon. They say that they should move the logos around a bit to make sure that the screens are not destroyed.
The TV channels say that punters should turn down the contrast on the screens.
