Playstation 2 repair part needed.

My PS2 has been been lying unused for the past 1 year, this is because the Reset Button Circuit and it's ribbon cable got damaged,

My friend is going to Chennai and I heard that Ritchie Street deals with consoles etc.,

Is there any chance I can get these 2 parts I need for my PS2?

Please send me contact numbers of shops/dealers who can sell these 2 parts,

I have a SCPH-70006 model(Version 12) Slim PS2, and the parts I need are:-

1.Reset Button Circuit
SONY PS 2 SLIMLINE ON/OFF RESET BUTTON 7xxxx USA SELLER - eBay (item 180525522253 end time Jul-25-10 15:05:44 PDT)

2.Ribbon cable for it.

most of the PS2 that goes to repairs dont come back

i mean they will say its a critical problem and u will have to pay a big ammount ... then u will loose hope n leave the PS2

if ur techie smart ... then go for it
 
Got my PS2 repaired at a shop called Ninza Communications in SP Road,

The only problem was the Reset Button and cable, cost me a total of Rs.650/-,

I have a 32 MB Mem Card and a 8 MB card.Both works most of the time but some games dont detect the Mem card.I am using Sony DVD-R.May be you should lower the write speed to 2x or 4x max.
