Couple of issues -
1) IP banned for my friends ISP -
PS for some reason that they themselves couldn't explain has banned my friends IP. When checked with Sony, they kept on stalling the case for nearly a month and finally said they can revoke the ban but they are not sure if the ban can happen/not happen later as well.
Since we rarely get static IP's provided by the private ISPs n India now, a banned IP is gonna stop the online gaming forever for all users on the ISP. And this can happen to anyone by what Sony has responded and there seems to be no control.

2) The credit/debit card was not accepted -
There is a ridiculous address verification by the AVS system introduced by Sony in Dec 2015. Anytime you add a new card the address on PSN should match with the address in bank. It even checks for case sensitivity I think. I have given the address same as what in my account (actually called the bank and read each word and spelling to make sure its correct). But still it failed. Sony guys stalled this numerous times by asking me to check if the bank is AVS registered (ICICI cards are said to be working with PSN on various forums, so thats not the issue), then they asked to check if address is right and finally wanted a screenshot of the issue even after clearly telling them the error message and posting a screenshot of the same on day 1.
I got the point that they are just stalling it so stopped wasting my time.

After these 2, we all moved onto Xbone.
 
I am aware of #2 issue. I recently bought a PS3 and I was warned about this. However I am mostly not gonna buy any Digital games and will use only discs.

No online games either. because n Indian PSN, the only way to buy PS+ is through the PSN store :) thats why I had to move onto Xbox as me and my friends are all playing division.

LOL.. My friend, he is gonna keep it, but I will sell mine by end of May (after completing UC4). Drop me a PM and I will let you know when I put it on sale if you can wait that long. :)

Even this price is costlier than whats been sold in the UK...
you can get a brand new 1tb with games within 270GBP (25.5K)

I feel... this price has to reduce furthur...
not to mention PS4K on the horizon.... (Dual GPU and temporal re-construction 4k upscaling)

Dude.. Pls rent your ps4 for TE members exclusively.. UC4 is on everybody's list and there would be quite a few who want to just get their hands on that game only from ps4's library ;)

So till the time your ps4 is in warranty, we all ought to make the most of it, and post the route of courier guy on ps blog to make them realise how we roll if they unnecessarily frustrate a gamer in India :p

Unfortunately, its out of warranty. :) besides, I prefer to find the PS4 a home and not leave it to the hands of the public because I still love it for all the service it did for me pre Dec 2015 when I was in UK :)

I never intended it to sound like meting a rough kinda usage to the prized device.
Been meaning to play UC4, (even while expecting it to be a dud like UC3), but hard to find gamers in my circle/area and even tougher is to convince for pooling in resources for the console. Uncharted is the only star attraction for the ps4 atm for many.

But isnt the game due in May? You mentioned about selling the console end of April after having completed UC4?

There is Last Guardian as well that people are waiting for on PS4. But I think there are great set of games that are remastered and are excellent on PS4
