News Playstation Extra and Deluxe now available, should I move to Extra?

I was keeping my eye out for the game-pass like PS plus, guess its finally here - https://www.playstation.com/en-in/ps-plus/whats-new/

My brother uses the PS mainly, and he isn't interested in the older stuff, so was thinking of going with Extra tier (I have 6 months remaining, have to pay 950 rupees for the upgrade). In the 6 months, if he deems it good we'll stick to it.

Anyone else in the same boat?
 
I feel it's great value for money considering how overpriced games are for PS in India
It's not as awesome as gamepass for xbox but for PS it's the greatest thing ever
 
Extra is actually a bang on option of the three until and unless you're into classic titles. Game trials on Deluxe was a bit tempting but I was expecting it to be trials for new releases whereas its a diff catalogue which you can try and see if you'd like to purchase it.
 
I think once the introductory prices go away they'll obviously hike up the prices for India as already usd is gaining and there are talks of games going to be more expensive
 
Thanks for the reply. Yes the prices will be increased, but that goes for literally every commodity. Inflation be rising like no one's business.

Guess I'll get the Extra Tier!

The prices may not increase since its a regional store and the prices are set region wise. They had dropped the PSplus price in May2020 and its not like rupee per dollar was getting any stronger then.
 
Go for extra tier there's not much value in deluxe. If there are some games that you want to play in deluxe then upgrade to deluxe when only 1 or 2 months are left.
 
Upgraded to Extra tier, now brother wants to get a HDD to keep extra games.

He had a field day downloading the games, I think he must be playing them by now lol
