people are paying 1L+ for relatively little experience gain for phones...if they can make it a "once in a lifetime" or "for select few" marketing hype...it will sell in india
 
For people new to VR this could seem like an absurd price, for device which is dependent on another device to work, costing more than host device. VR is still an expensive hobby.

For VR enthusiasts, who are used to 1000usd PCVR stuff, this is a fantastic device at this price point. PCVR compatibility is still unknown (fingers crossed).
If this is PCVR compatible and Sony brings it here, this could be quite a good upgrade(or alternate to hp reverb g2) for quest 2 pcvr users.

I don't think they will open it up to PC. If they did, this would be an insta buy for me and I suspect a lot many people.
