Please Help in buying a Digital camera

Guys.. There are lots of cameraholic members on TE..

gotta buy a Digicam tomorrow please suggest a good one and a powerful digital camera possible.. budget is around 10K

also where to buy these cameras in mumbai? Vijay sales? need a good warranty support and a non china camera preferably a 10Megapixel camera..

Accelerometer like in Canon cameras are welcomed.. need best cam which has best color reproduction and pixelation while zooming should not be experienced :P basically a need a decent deal with high megapixel numbers and should be as slim as possible :D

Did sify offer emi option earlier? Or was that some other site? I too am looking for a basic digicam, preferably under 10k.

All for 14000 with Bill & warranty

+1 for cam.. awesome clear..
 
well.. didnt go to buy cam today.. dad was busy and i was too.. still a days time there to decide. will b shopping digicam tomorrow evening.. so gotta decide tomorrow.. need a slim one.. canon i didnt like cause of the curvature on the left side.. i need a flat rectangle like Canon Ixus series and slim camera with decent zoom and 8MP.. suggestions welcomed still.

best suggestion go down to the store click a few photos and see what suits u the best..u could go through a thousand reviews and not come up with a definite answer...on a side note do check out the casio exilm's..they make great camera's in the ultraportable segment...
 
^^ Exactly.. i asked my friend i need portability he told me the same to go for Casio Exilim.. i doubt casio has a good clarity.. and i dont think its not at all better than sony.. should i go for Casio?
 
see dude what you want the cam ? for looks or good image? people would admire only image quality not ur cam.so go for cam with image quality.according to experts on the internet canon has the best image quality.so go for canon.canon A570 IS has the best image quality even beats cam with 10mp specs.I have the A570 IS and the Sony W70.but the canon gives me great pic quality and also it is very small fits in the trouser pockets.
