Hi all,

I am planning to build a system with following configuration

AMD Athlon II X2 - 260

GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2P

Corsair DDR3 RAM (2x2GB)

Sapphire ATI HD 5670

I will be using the following items from my old PC

Seagate 5400rpm SATA HDD 250GB

Samsung DVD-writer

Samsung 18.5" monitor

Right now i am confused about the PSU. I have two PSUs in mind

Corsair 430W CXV2UK

Seasonic S12II-430W

Can you kindly let me know whether these PSUs will support above config?

I will be using the system for light gaming ( RPGs with low resolution and low settings if needed, as long as they have decent FPS)

Your suggestions are highly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, get the corsair cx 430v2, it will suffice your needs.

+1 to Corsair CX430V2-2.1k which is more than enough for the op system,Max he should go for Seasonic S12ii 430W-3k.

If you want to go for coolermaster, only go for silent pro m or m2 or silent pro gold nd only the gold can compete with silver lines from corsair or Seasonic

No need to go for any other than Corsair CX430V2,Easily available and great after sales service with warranty.Hope this clears stuff.

The GX-450 as got quite good reviews -- http://www.hardwares...ply-Review/1234 / http://www.jonnyguru...=Story&reid=231 it belongs to a different breed than the other GX units [which have conflicting reviews about their ripple suppression and stability at peak outputs], I will second that over the Corsair CX V2 430W.

I swear by JohnnyGuru SMPS reviews and if that guy says an SMPS is good, it is outstanding. Here is what he thinks about the Corsair CX V2 430W just to put things in perspective --> http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=239.

But if OP has that much budget he will be better with the Seasonic S12II 430W, in my opinion. Also with the GX 450 and the Seasonic SMPS OP has a chance of adding a more powerful graphics card.

Hope this helps, Cheers!!
