Please help with Music system for a Friend

A friend wishes to buy a High end music system.
and has zeroed in on
Bose 321 GS which is for Exactly Rs 79763
They call it Bose 3•2•1™ GS Home Entertainment System- but he wishes to be advised about better options.
( I for one have advised him about this being a over hyped CD
/DVD player )

Marantz pm5004 + Marantz cd5004 + Quad 11l2 package

Doesn't get any better for 60k odd.
