Please recommend speakers for Netbook

Hello

I have a Samsung N128 Netbook and want a set of speakers for it. I mainly listen to online news channels on the netbook and I find the speakers on the netbook are far too weak and the audio is barely heard even at maximum volume setting. So, which speakers should I get? I do not mind if I have to power the speakers separately from a power source.

Any recommendations from this list at Flipkart will be really helpfull, my budget is under 1k:

I like the looks on the logitech 110, around 500 via ebay. Usb powered.

You may want to check out the xmax mini series for seriously portable battery powered speakers, more exp though.

The Logitech 110? Which one is that? Were you referring to the Logitech S150?

If I want powered speakers, which one should I invest in then. Portability is not much of an issue, as the speakers and netbook are stationed on my desk and I don't carry them around.

its the best one at around 1k. you wont regret.

and if you dont want bass then you can save some bucks by buying Altec Lansing BXR1220 Speaker

I'm getting the Altec Lansing VS2621 (2.1) speakers. It's a tad over my budget at 1.7k but going by the reviews I have scoured and read over the internet in the last couple of days I guess it's a very good 2.1 setup at that price point.
