Please Suggest a Refrigerator

Guys,

i am looking for one having 400+ < 550 size along with i want the door lock to be mandatory.

Budget is max 45k. i have taken a look at toshiba also. how is it?

how is haier as a brand.

samsung doesnt have lock in that range n LG i am nt sure about..

please help guys

Hitachi is also good in that range. Haier is pretty good if you can choose the correct model carefully.

Whirlpool is just about average. But Godrej is definitely shitty. Very poor energy ratings and crappy shelves.

+1 to Samsung! Having used 2 Samsung 240/300 Litres, based on its performance Samsung is definitely recommended.

May be they have some new model with a lock that you want. The Lower end models that I use do have a lock!

I bought the new lock model. The lock is so crappy that they open without key. thats why returned the model and got a refund and regarding Godrej/Whirlpool do they have 500Lt fridge?

Would you consider 2 smaller ones ?

Bro the locks that are coming in newer models is square shaped rather than the pin shaped ones before, they can be easily opened without keys

Get a refrigerator that requires you to pour cold water or ice periodically to keep the contents cool. We can save a lot of electricity this way. Im an environmentalist hippie.

I have a similar feature in my washing machine with hot water facility. It doesnt have a built-in heater so I have to pour hot water manually. I save a lot on electricity since there is no heating coil in the washing machine.
