Please suggest Broadband Speed for Online Share Trading

Hi friends

Can any one tell me required broadband speed for Online Share trading?:S

Is 256 KB enough for above mentioned purpose?

I am planning for MTNL Delhi 256 Kbps to 2 Mbps plan. Is it okay?

256kbps is enough for that purpose since for share trading all that is needed is a steady fast connection and 256kb plan is enough for that purpose.

Is up loading speed have anything to do with Online share trading?
 
^ no, not really, though little amount of data does gets uploaded when you send the information like what scrips to buy and stuff,but the upload speed of your 256 kbps should easily satisfy it.

PS: i can trade on my 50kbps gprs connection too. :)
 
to b frank its more than enough...

but if u r that of type that who do technical analysis..where u get detail that on 2 hours 43 mins and 22 second...share price will jump from 100 to 101.2345..(its important for traders who does huge spending worth trading)...than its better to go for 1mbps stuff......but point there also will b steady connection
