1. HTC One X Rs.35K (Quad core, 720p Screen, Superb 8MP camera, ICS)

2. Sony Xperia S Rs.29K (Dual core, 720p Screen, 12MP camera, ICS)

3. Samsung Note Rs.30K (Dual core. 720p Screen, 8MP camera, ICS promised)

4. Sony Xperia Ray Rs.14.5K (3.3", Single core, excellent 8MP camera)

I did thght of One X. Since thats the top end now till S3. But buying a phone for >30K is something no one is agreeing to me.

.

So let me put the budget as 20k.

Also went through some phones...One V, Moto Droid 3, Nokia e7. etc

1. HTC One X Rs.35K (Quad core, 720p Screen, Superb 8MP camera, ICS)

2. Sony Xperia S Rs.29K (Dual core, 720p Screen, 12MP camera, ICS)

One X - Not more than 30k. besides, the reviewers seems to be torn between X and S.

Xperia - Wish it was under the 25k bracket...

Note - TOOO BIG

Ray - Too small.

But comparing Lumia 800 to HTC One V... Isnt One V better?

i dont understand in which way you are asking...i have used lumia and its very smooth and easy to operate.If you are thinking about apps then One V should give you more choices.Build quality wise both should be very good.You could also consider other windows phones if you want to spend less.

#m-jeri If you are not in a hurry then Sony Xperia P shall be the best bet for you.

And Lumia 800 is better than One V. Trust me I am using Windows Phone and its awesome.

The problem with Xperia P is it doesn't have Micro SD card Slot

In existing Dual core phones take a look at Atrix 2 & Sensation both should be around 22K

Multitasking wise. Windows 7.5 is still running along... ICS is a lot matured than where it started. and yes, Google apps is a big pull for me.

hey buddy,

i want to ask you 2 questions,have you used a sub 25 k android phone before?

do you use lots of apps in your daily schedule?

there is a bit of a diference between win 7 and andoid phones currently.in my opinion,only the good android phones at the moment are in the sub 30 k category.win 7 is more snappier than android though,and if you are not a hard app user or your usage is bogged down to only the very important apps then i will recommend you to go for the lumia as it has better build quality and design in its class.also nokia service in india is pretty good so you wont have problem with any replacements.

HTC One S could be one of the top choices available to you. It would give you the best bang for the buck as its dual core SOC throws around some good weight along with a nice 8MP camera in the tow.

Xperia S is a heavy device at 144gms so do consider that before you think of buying it even if it's available for 25K in future.

Xperia P would serve the purpose if around 10GB free space would be good enough for your needs but its yet to launch so you'll have to wait to get your hands on it.

Lumia 800 @ arnd 22K doesn't have a front cam so if its not your priority then you could consider it purely on the basis of the good camera on its back & if you feel you would be fine on the Windows Phone platform.

Hope this helps.

@vanthe

1. No

2. No I think... Just use mail, chat, music player, browser

if your usage is limited to this,i will recommend you to take the lumia 800 eyes closed.it will give you a fantastic user experience.if you are going the android way,then take the s2.you can easily get it for around 23 k if you source it properly.

@vanthe..

Its not that I say s2 is a bad choice or anything. But that i9100G or something is there r8?. else I would have bought it. Any pointers to look for one please?

@Comp

One S will take time to release r8?. Even if they release, I believe it will be > 25k mark. Thats why i am not waiting for s3 either. It will be 30k ish..

Wait for the Xperia P. It has a dual core 1GHz NovaThor U8500.(Mali 400 GPU -> Same as SII)

Same design as the Xperia S. 8MP sensor, 1GB RAM, 16GB non-expandable memory.

It has a very good 4" qHD screen. The LCD has a RGBW matrix which helps in more battery life.

Pricing should be in the range of the ~24k-25k.

Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II vs Samsung I9100G Galaxy S II – know the differences

The 9100G is inferior to the 9100. In that case if the SAMOLED+ is not a must you are better off with a Sensation @ 22k.
