I need to buy a washing machine stat as my old seimens washing machine drum has worn out.
The service person from seimens are asking 12.8K for the drum + Water softener. this is the second time the drum has worn out, last one lasted for 2 years and it cost us 6K back then. I will be washing 5-7 KGs of clothes on a daily basis. i have no idea about the hardness of water but the siemens service guy told us that the water was hard and that we need to use the water softener to prevent the machine from getting spoiled. is there any way to test the hardness of water?. also please suggest me a good washing machine for the afore mentioned requirements.
