Graphic Cards please suggest me a graphics card..please

hi i am nagarjuna
i am using my system maximum playing games and watching movies..
my config is
intel c2d 7400
gigabyte p43 ds3l
ram 2*2gb transand ram
monitor;samsung -2233w-22"

i bought this one year back..i am using this system vth xfx 8600gt 256ddr3 ram
now my grafic cad is not working..(in the grafic card board capisitors are broken)
now i am planing to buy new grafic card for my system..
please please suggiste me a good one in 5 k range...

what is your budget first of all specify that and secondly what games would you like to play are you a casual gamer or a hardcore gamer

i will play maximum games like pop , AC2,and now i am playing star craft 2
my budget is 5000 rupees

go for ati hd 5670 512 mb gddr5 it will cost you around 500 inr and if you have no good psu then you have to invest on psu also then i would suggest you to go for 450 watt psu from company like tagon corsair or coolermaster..:)

Dont buy XFX products. Its after sale service handled by Rashi. They denied warranty on my XFX 9600 GT because as per sticker warranty was expired, moreover they didnt consider bill as per bill it is still under warranty.
 
yes this is also happens to me in managalore...
they Denney warranty for my xfx 8600 gt (i got this 2008 December at dt time they told 3 years warranty ) whate they told first time it is mechanical problem after dt it is power problem..
then after words..
the serial no is not showing our list..
when i am talking to the costumer service executive dt time i really feel may be i am in some Indian government office
that fellow speak to me very lazy..and treating me as beggar.....

i really hurted dt time. i decided i didn't go for xfx even may it is gold or diamond also...
i didn't give single pica to xfx

If u can spend 2.7k then go for the Corsair CX400 ~ 2.7k (Excellent quality and after sales service)
Else the FSP SAGAII 400w ~ 2k/ Gigabyte Superb 460 ~ 2.2k

this psu is good (Corsair CX400)in future upgrades i can use this at least 2 years ..

why i am asking this for Corsair CX400 is only 400w ,
i seen the graphic card manual in that the minimum requirement is 400w or more then that..

please guid me sir..

The CX400 would suffice. They would have mentioned so coz there are PSU's that are rated 450w but struggle to deliver 300w-350w. The generic ones like Intex/ Mora etc.. which costs Rs.500 even fail to deliver 250w. That too these cheap ones doesnt provide clean power

But the CX400 is an excellent unit with high class components. Ur rig wont even utlize 60-70% of what the CX400 delivers at max. load. U can go ahead with it.

XFX has got a 3yr warranty. So INCASE you want something out of your dec'08 8600GT, you can clearly fight for it and we shall help you for the same.

For the PSU, CX400 is the optimum future-friendly purchase.
