Please suggest me a wireless router

Hi,

Currently i have a linksys wireless b router. as one of its antenna is missing i have to be near the router in order to use the wifi, wifi reception is pathetic in other rooms. my house is aroud 1200SQFT and the router is placed in a corner of the room. i have two questions now

1. If i buy this router will it solve my reception problems

2. can i get the antenna alone for the router even if i get the antenna will my reception improve?

Wow guys there was a time when replies used to be quite prompt seriously no o e has any i inputs on this?
 
802.11b is quite dated. You might probably do better with the newer n router. Usually older routers had better transmit power, but the BEFW11S4 looks ordinary.

What devices are you using with it? I'm surprised you've lasted with 802.11b so long :p
 
Should do. Check the version you get and flash to dd-wrt/openwrt since someone mentioned the range improved significantly for him.
 
Out of curiosity, was your existing router working properly when it had the other antenna?
