Hi ,

I am planning to buy a quality earphone.
My primary concerns are :

  • Excellent audio quality , effects and details .
  • Comfortable for ears
  • Price range(Earphones) : <2000 INR
  • Durable
Optimized for use with Laptop , and Cellphones basically.

I was looking for Creative EP-630 earphones , but heard that it has poor life , and quality degrades over time.
I am primarily going to use it with My Nokia N95.

The product I was using earlier was "Philips Ear hook Headphones, SHS4800" , but I lost one of its rubber ear cushions. Although its sound quality has never been good for me.

Als , I was wondering How good is Nokia N91 as a MP3 player ??

Thanks,
Rishi.

My EP-630 are working perfectly for the last 3 years, no noticeable quality degradation, just one of the buds(large) tore because of rough handling...

Thanks for the information , I went through some of the reviews available on Flipkart and few other websites and seems like its the best budget earphone within 1k , but it had limited lifespan.
So I finally went for Tekfusion Twinwoofer for 1150INR.
Its highly rated and has way too much to offer compared to others at same price.

I am not sure whether being an IEM product would be a COn or PRO for this.
Also it requires a level of BURn-in around 60-80Hours. So no one is going to enjoy it right out of the box. needs time to get addicted.

I am wondering about this burn-in thing.

Since you had a budget of 2k, you should've bought the soundmagic E30.
You should've posted this thread in the audio section to get more response.
